The Plans call for the formers to be beveled to the slopes
of the hull, but I avoid that tedious process by placing
the forward formers aft of the datum lines, and the aft
formers forward of the datum lines. This way the strips
can just sit down on the corners of the formers and will
take up a fair line. do a batten check for fair before
nailing anything down, but it usually works out just fine.
