off on the
first longish voyage from Waterville to Sneem. (Kenmare Bay - Kerry -
Ireland) - 35 Km in calm conditions took us under five hours at an easy
pace (7 kph) the North Star had reserve speed on the day. Click
here for a performance review The other boat is a Nimrod II designed by Darryl Graves before the days of the internet. He seems to have vanished from the scene. A shame it is a very nice boat which has covered a lot of miles. |
