| 051 Inside of the hull is glassed,
                including fill coats. While a chemical bond is still
                possible I laminate two strips along the inside of both
                sheers to receive the deck. For this design, where the
                angle at the sheer is acute, this method works very
                well. It is less easy to use a sheerclamp on hulls with
                more rounded sheers. If you are using sheerclamps remember to leave enough proud of the gunwhales, especially in front of the cockpit, to bevel the angles.  |
